Does Newcastle Coal Infrastructure Group provide funding to local community groups?

We sure do. Every March and September Newcastle Coal calls for applications from local community and sporting groups for their projects and programs. Go to our Community Support page for the latest info and how to apply.

When do the sprinklers go on?

Newcastle Coal's sprinklers are an innovative piece of equipment and will adjust to the current weather conditions. This means if it's windy, they will spray more and if there is no wind you may not notice them as much. Managing noise

A noise management plan sets out how potential noise impacts will be managed. It identifies nearby properties that may be impacted as well as mitigation measures. Practical steps are used on site to minimise noise wherever possible. For more information visit our Environmental Plans and Reports.
