Newcastle Coal Infrastructure Group is committed to building resilient communities, supporting individuals and groups that are making a difference where it matters most.

Through our major support initiative, we provide financial contributions to a range of worthy causes, including Many Rivers microfinance project.

Why Many Rivers

Starting a business can be daunting and may require access to finance, often impeding start-up initiatives. Many Rivers is a not-for-profit organisation making a difference to aspiring business owners

by providing practical business support, guidance and access to finance to turn their ideas into reality.

Many Rivers is very much a part of the community, linking people and services together to benefit individuals, businesses and the community. Since commencing in 2008, Many Rivers has supported over 1,200 micro and small businesses across Australia, generating approximately 2,500 full-time and part-time jobs.

Since establishing in the Hunter Region, Many Rivers has directly supported 160 small businesses with 135 of them being new ventures. This program is generating tangible results and making a positive difference in people’s lives.
